In December 2018, the Trust initiated a change proposal and consultation process regarding the organisational structure as part of moving forward its Te Rautaki O Ngati Hine Health Trust 2018-2030 Strategic Plan launched officially in November 2018 (www.nhht.co.nz) The purpose of this letter is to announce formally the final decisions from that process and how it may affect Ngati Hine Health Trusts relationship with your organisation.
The following General Manager positions within the Trust have been disestablished with effect 1 February 2019:

General Manager Matauranga Whanui (Mariameno Kapa-Kingi)
General Manager Whanau Whanui (Tania Siteine)
General Manager Maiaorere (Janice Gardner)
This was a significant decision for the Trust to make given their personal contribution to Ngati Hine Health Trust including long lengths of service (up to 20 years for some) from these highly capable and respected leaders. I hope you will find the opportunity to personally acknowledge their leadership in your own way over the next week leading up to Friday, 1 February 2019.
Appointment of a Whanau Ora Transition Manager
Following an internal application process, the Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Rutene-Smith from Monday, 4th February 2019 as the Whanau Ora Transition Manager who will assume primary responsibility for:
1. All services delivered by the Trust (Operations) and
2. Leading the transition and transformation of the Trust from the service structure that currently exists to a structure that reflects our future commitment to reinforce a whanau centred organisation built around “One Whanau-One Plan-One Place”
