In December 2018, the Trust initiated a change proposal and consultation process regarding the organisational structure as part of moving forward its Te Rautaki O Ngati Hine Health Trust 2018-2030 Strategic Plan launched officially in November 2018 ( The purpose of this letter is to announce formally the final decisions from that process and how it may affect Ngati Hine Health Trusts relationship with your organisation.

The following General Manager positions within the Trust have been disestablished with effect 1 February 2019:

 General Manager Hauora (Linda Thompson)

 General Manager Whanau Ora Collective (Jennifer Rutene-Smith)

 General Manager Matauranga Whanui (Mariameno Kapa-Kingi)

 General Manager Whanau Whanui (Tania Siteine)

This was a significant decision for the Trust to make given their personal contribution to Ngati Hine Health Trust including long lengths of service (up to 20 years for some) from these highly capable and respected leaders. I hope you will find the opportunity to personally acknowledge their leadership in your own way over the next week leading up to Friday, 1 February 2019.
