Te Hui Toopu o Ngāti Hine: Inaugural meeting of iwi entities

Te Hui Toopu o Ngāti Hine (above).

This was the inaugural gathering of Ngāti Hine entities for whānaungatanga, whakawhitiwhiti kōrero and identifying joint areas of interest.

Presentations were delivered by the Trust (Aorangi Stokes), Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Hine (Waihoroi Shortland and Pita Tipene), Ngāti Hine Forestry Trust (Pita Tipene and Heidi Mackey), Te Ara Kopuni o Ngati Hine and Te Ara Tika – Mandate Roadshow (Mylie George), Te Kete Tangariki (Suzi Hati), (HohiPere Williams and Wiremu Keretene), Te Reo o Ngati Hine (Tukaha Milne) and Ngāti Hine FM (Erana Fenton).

Te Hui Toopu o Ngāti Hine plans to meet regularly with the next hui in six weeks time.
